Coalworks Ltd (ASX:CWK) is focused on developing coking and thermal projects into production: the Vickery South project in the Gunnedah Basin, the Ferndale project in the Hunter Valley and the Oaklands Project in the South-West of New South Wales, Australia.

Vickery South - JORC 58.5 Mt semi-soft coking and thermal coal. A joint venture exists between a subsidiary of Japanese general trading company, ITOCHU corporation and a subsidiary of Coalworks. Coalworks has completed measured drilling and has identified a 58.5 Mt JORC compliant bituminous coal resource, includes 48Mt measured, 0.1Mt indicated and 10.4 inferred resource.

Ferndale - Exploration target 350 to 530 million tonnes of export quality thermal coal and coking coal in the Newcastle Coal Measures and Wittingham Coal Measures. A joint venture exists between a subsidiary of Coalworks and a subsidiary of Boardwalk Resources Pty Ltd. The project is close to rail, road and port infrastructure and is located in the prime Hunter Valley coal region and is 125km from the port of Newcastle.

Oaklands North - JORC 822 Mt of thermal coal. A strategic alliance with Synthesis Energy Systems Inc of the US brings proven coal to petrol technology to strengthen the export coal component of the project. The JORC 822 Mt thermal coal resource includes 121Mt measured, 572 Mt indicated and 129 Mt inferred categories.

The board and management consists of experienced coal industry executives and engineers with strong corporate and operational experience.
